AGRI AppEx - A Comprehensive Farming Tool
AGRI AppEx, developed by Godrej Agrovet Ltd., is a free Android app that offers a unique combination of benefits catering to farmers, field staff, and the dealer network. The app provides a digital pocket catalog of products, technical guides on product and crop know-how, and a crop-pest database with photos available to the staff. The product catalog helps the dealer network increase awareness of the company's product offerings, and the app sends notifications about rallies and farmer meetings conducted in different areas. Farmers can access a personal pictorial guide throughout their crop lifecycle, with a vernacular database of product information in the promo section and a completely pictorial crop profile section to help farmers identify and solve problems. The app also includes a farm investment diary for farmers to record every expense, calculate the cost per acre, and rate the products' efficacy. A brief report is presented to the farmer at the end of the exercise.
